If you are in need of emergency food assistance, you will need to be a permanent resident of the Holt Public school district, living east of Waverly Road. Families will need to apply and provide documentation needed to verify qualifications. Call HCFB on Mondays 8a.m. to 12p.m. or Wednesdays, 9a.m. to 1p.m. at (517) 694-9307 to make an appointment for certification. A current State of Michigan Photo ID or Drivers License with their Holt address is required as proof of residency and for all food pick ups. All HCFB recipients will need to be recertified at least every 12 months or when your circumstances change.
Capital Area Community Services in Mason at (517) 676-1065 may also be able to offer ADDITIONAL services that are not available through Holt Community Food Bank. CACS is open Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays & Fridays (closed on Wednesdays), 8a.m. to 4p.m. and are located at 418. East Maple Street in Mason, Michigan at 517-676-1065.
PLEASE NOTE: Holt Community Food Bank will be closed for all legal holidays and when the Holt Public Schools are closed due to power outage or weather conditions. Local tv & radio stations will announce any closures in their morning broadcasts.

HCFB provides emergency food support for eligible families and individuals who are permanent residents of Holt:
- One food order per residence may be picked up once every 30 days, based on open distribution hours & availability of appointments. Appointments and current updated certification are required to pick up food order along with a valid, current Michigan photo ID with Holt address.
- Fresh produce, meats and some dairy products are provided when available
Non-food items such as basic toiletries may also be given when available.
